The Department of MCA organized a one day Technical fest EKATHRA-‘18 on 15th February 2018. The function started on a divine note with the prayer song. Ms. P.ELAKKIYA of II MCA welcomed the gathering. Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration, Paavai Institutions, presided over the function. Dr. M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, felicitated the event.
Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, in his presidential address, emphasized the importance of Professional life. He stated that the students have to listen around the world and what happened there and to implement every activity with technical aspect and make it simple. Finally, he insisted the students to solve the social problems with technical knowledge. The prelude of the function was given by Ms. K.MANIBHARATHI of II MCA.
In the forenoon, “Connexion (IQ)”-Preliminary Round, “ADZAP (Technical Marketing)”-Preliminary Round, Rangoli, Surprise Events and Treasure Hunt events were conducted by our MCA students. In the afternoon “CONNEXION (IQ)”-Final Round, “ADZAP (Technical Marketing)”-Final Round and Reflection events were conducted. Students from various arts and science colleges in Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri, Karur and Erode Districts actively participated in the all events.
In the valedictory function, Dr. M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, distributed the first and second cash prize to each winning team along with the certificates, and participation certificates were issued to other participants. The function concluded with the vote of thanks by Ms.R.MONIKA, II MCA. Heads of various Departments, Professors, and Assistant Professors actively participated in the progamme and made it a grand success. Students from various Arts & Science colleges participated with full zeal and were benefitted by this programme. The EKATHRA-‘18 tech fest was really enjoyable and it was a grand success.
