Faculty development program on “R Programming” was held on 1.12.2017 for the faculty members of Computer Science and Engineering department, IT department and MCA departments.
Dr.K.Selvi, Dean Academics, welcomed the faculty members and motivated the faculty members to learn the new concepts under the programming languages and inculcate those for the benefits of the students.
Dr.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College presided over the function and appreciated the efforts of Faculty development team and the department for conducting the program for the knowledge enrichment of the faculty members.
P.Santhiya,Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering was the resource person and she handled the sessions for the faculty members.
R Programming basics was discussed in the forenoon session and hands-on training was given to the faculty members during the afternoon session.Assignments were given to all the faculty members who attended the sessions and were submitted.The sessions were well received by the faculty members.
