A two-day conference on title “International Conference on Adaptive Technologies for Sustainable Growth (ICATS-2016)” was inaugurated on 13th May 2016 on the campus of Paavai Educational Institutions.
Sri. CA. N.V. Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions presided over and inaugurated the conference by lightening the kuthuvilakku and gave him the presidential address.
Earlier Dr. K. K. Ramasamy, Director Administrations, Paavai Institutions welcomed the gathering.
Mr. HERMANUS ADRIAAN BERNARD, Chief Executive Officer, INTELE Track, Pretoria, South Africa., Ir. Dr. NURSYARIZAL MOHD NOR, Universiti Teknologi Petrona, Malaysia and Dr. AMIMUL AHSAN, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia, participated as special guests of the function.
The Chief Guest in his inaugural address highlighted the existing scenario about the recent trend and amazing growth in the field of science and technology and gave a few suggestions to the Engineering students.
Then he advised the students and the staff to actively participate in the conference and make use of this rare opportunity in imparting and sharing the newly evolved thoughts and ideas in the area of Science and Technology.
The Chief Guest profusely admired and appreciated the ambiance of Paavai Institutions and the way in which quality education is being offered to the students. He made a special mention about the training given by and the memorandum of understanding with the multinational corporate companies like Microsoft, Wipro, Infosys, etc.
In this two day conference sharing and exchange of new and creative ideas and concepts in science and technology through special speeches addressed by experts and specialists from the field of Science and technology are going to take place.
As many as 170 research papers have been shortlisted from the innumerable papers received in the branches of CSE, EEE, Civil, EEE, Power systems, Power Electronics, etc.
