The inaugural function for the first-year classes of Paavai Polytechnic College for the academic year 2025–2026 was held on June 23, 2025, marking the formal commencement of the academic journey for the new batch of students. The event was organized to welcome the freshers and introduced them to the institution’s values, vision, and academic environment. The program began with the traditional Kuthuvilakku lighting ceremony, led by Correspondent, Smt. N. Mangai Natarajan Madam.. A warm welcome address was delivered by Smt. C. Jayalakshmi Dean Counselling Madam, who extended heartfelt greetings to the incoming students and their families. Respected Correspondent Madam felicitated the gathering. Chairman, Shri. CA N. V. Natarajan, Paavai Eductional Institutions, who presided over the function, delivered the presidential address. In his speech, he warmly welcomed the new batch of students and emphasized the importance of education in shaping responsible and innovative citizens. He encouraged students to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the institution and highlighted the significance of discipline, curiosity, and ethical conduct in academic life. He also urged them to develop both professional skills and personal character. He concluded his inspiring speech by wishing all students success and personal growth during their time at the college.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. T. S. Gowtham Principal of Paavai Polytechnic College. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, students, and parents, as well as everyone involved in organizing the successful inaugural function.He especially thanked Chairman Sir and Correspondent Madam for their constant guidance and support. Finally, he wished the new students a fulfilling and enriching experience at the institution.
